2 killed in an ambush in Tineg, Abra

Description

A councilor and his brother from Tineg, Abra were reportedly ambushed as they were returning home from Vira, Tineg. Initial reports identifies the victim as Rey Tandy and his brother. Rey's brother was killed on the spot with gunshot wounds, while the councilor suffered from wounds in the abdomen & foot. He was rushed to the hospital in Bangued where he died later.
